Stan's Shoots
In 2005 Stan Goldstein attended several photography workshops, and noted that they were run inefficiently. That ment high cost for photographers, low income for models, and minimal artistic output. He decided to organize workshops with the following thoughts in mind: "Maximum utilization of fixed capital assets" & "Economies of scale".
These thoughts, along with VERY careful planning, and a few other things, have enabled Stan & his fellow organizers to provide photographers with access to models and studio space below their usual cost; while models benefit with daily income above the usual.
We are a photography group dedicated to learning the fine points of artistic figure photography and lighting techniques, and perfecting our skill. We do this by taking lots of pictures & practicing at numerous workshops.
This group welcomes: accomplished professionals, first timers, & all those in between. If you are serious about photography, regardless of your skill level, and want to improve your skill at working with nude models, this group is probably for you.
We take photography very seriously. Setting up shoots with top models requires much planning, lots of work & cooperation from all of the participants. We know that other aspects of life sometimes interfere with our photography plans, but if you say you are attending, we need you to show up or at least cover your share of the cost.
ALL WORKSHOP ATTENDEES & GROUP MEMBERS MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD.
